Interview

Renato Oyarce was born in 1994 in Chiguayante, the first born of a sporting family. Since a little boy he was very interested in the football, specially in be a goalkeeper. At eight years, he went to test to Universidad Catolica, where he was accepted as the substitute goalkepper.
Quickly, he became in the permanent goalkeeper of his club, and the fans, little by little start to admire him.
A few years later, he consolidate in football and was called to te Chilean Selection, where he became in the best goalkeeper of the Chilean history.


What make you feel happy?
-Mmm, I think the love of my family and friends.

What is your greatest fear?
-That in a game of football, the opposite team make me a lot of goals.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?
-When I was a little child, and I played with kids more big than me, so they make me so much goals, so I feeling so embarrassed.

What is your greatest extravagance?
-My boots and my laptop computer.

What makes you depressed?
-To suffer a damage, that would make that I can't play...

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
-My eyes, because in times I can't see the play in the field.

What is your most unattractive habit?
-Eat in excess.

What is your favorite fantasy?
-Play in a worldcup, and be the best goalkeeper (the less beat).

What or who is the gratest love of your life?
-My family and the football.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
-To be consistent.

What words or phrases do you most overuse?
-... and what happen?

What is your greatest regret?
-Nothing, I don't see and worry about the past.

What would your motto be?
-Be famous, but a modest person.

What opinion do you have of the world?
-Actually, young people is worried of nature.

What do you think of the reception to you in Universidad Catolica?
-The reception was the best, that was one of the most happy moments in my life: play in my favorite football club.

When you go to other country, do you miss your family?
-Of course, because my family is... my life, that makes me happy and do every day the things better.

Who is the best goalkeeper for you?
-Oliver Kahn, Jose Luis Chilavert, Roberto Rojas, Sergio Vargas I inspirate and try to do the things like they...

And to finish, What advice do you give to your fans?
-That they have to be consistent in that they want.
